The reason why I chose to analyze this trailer is because the film coincides with our theme of technology.
The trailer opens with a statistic stating that, “everyday 2 billion cell phones ring”, this proves information for the audience. The way the text comes up on the screen is like it is being typed in on a phone, the phone dialing sound effect make it more appealing to the audience. The trailer uses sound bridges; a girl narrates, in-between two people talking and then shot changes to the girl who is narrating. Through out the whole trailer the theme tune is playing this constantly reminds the audience that the film is primarily based around technology. It ends with a montage of shots with fast pace music. We could use of these key idea’s in our trailer because it relates to our audience and genre!
